The Yorkshire Meats adopt-a-pig scheme has been featured in both the national press in the UK and also on television. These 5 British Lop x Oxford Sandy and Black piglets are all being adopted as part of the scheme and will be photographed, visited and eventually eaten. The fact that there are people very keen to do this emphasises the fact the food provenance is an increasingly important issue which we should be aware of.
