Robespierre pig was adopted by Mr. Mike Weare in the Winter of 2005. At the end of Robespierre’s happy life on the Yorkshire Meats farm, Mike threw a party with friends and reaped the benefits of this brilliant pig.

Kevin was adopted by members of the second floor ward at the Nuffield Hospital in York. Staff visited Kevin and eventually tucked into his goodness!

After the success of the first adoption, Mr Mike Weare returned to Yorkshire Meats to adopt another happy pig. Trevor (far right) was turned into all different porcine products and then enjoyed by Mike and his friends

Tallulah (the black faced pig top right) was adopted by the Lloyd family of Altrincham, Cheshire. Alison, Richard, Sam, Matthew and Eloise have already visited their baby twice, before collecting their meat in September 2006.

Jumbo the OSB piglet with a black splodge on his left eye was adopted by the Simpson family from Selby.
